CrossFit and Performance Menu Message Board Docs. PDF Print E-mail

Robb Wolf cares. I mean he really, really cares about getting information out to people to help them with their nutrition and fitness. If you haven't heard of Robb, he's the Paleo Diet, Zone & Intermittant Fasting guru. He's the owner of CrossFit NorCal up in Chico, which was the fourth CrossFit affiliate to ever open up!

Until not too long ago, you could email Robb with a question, and even if it was a common one, you'd get a response back from him personally. Hell, he'd even do research for you. For free. But with the growth of CrossFit, more and more people found out about Robb and the fanmail and questions became a deluge. The personal responses to each question or comment just had to stop. Rather than leave people in the lurch though, Robb's trying to centralize and streamline the way he communicates and get people to do a little self-service. Here's a very recent entry from his blog, RobbWolf.com:

Hey there! In an effort to get more information out to folks I paid someone to mine the CrossFit Message board and the Performance Menu message board for old threads I’ve participated in. It’s a boat load of information and I think will help to answer a lot of the questions that pop up for folks. I’ll also have these linked out of the FAQ.

Given Robb's prolific writing, "boat load" of information doesn't do justice to all that information. Thanks Man!!

Also - a while back I spoke with him about using his RSS feed on the CrossFit Davis site. He's all for it. I'm not sure where it's going to go -- maybe under NewsFeeds > RobbWolf ?

I am considering crossfit. I am in great shape as it is. I am not trying to brag at all, but I weigh 187 lbs, 7 percent bodyfat, bench 335, squat 575, and deadlift 605. and run 3 miles in 18:53.

I am concerned about losing muscle mass, because it took 4 years for me to go from 155 lbs to where I am, and it took 4 years of strict weight routines and dieting, as you could imagine.

I take training serious, I am not sure if I want to risk trying crossfit at the cost of losing my physique and mass.

Please help.

Again, I'm not trying to sound bada$$ or anything. I just need some advice from someone already doing it
