Wow, I must be in tune with the powers that be. I pulled Lynne out the other day and bing bango, another bodyweight bench WOD. For how much benching shows up (not a lot at all) - this has to qualify as some sort of synchronicity. Anyhoo, this one has a pull too, except that it's a row -- specifically a 500K, 1000K and 2000.
Much more metcon-oriented
Fun! BTW - click through the read more for some suggested scaling before you run for the hills.
On a side note - I've been flipping through this huge book called The Art of Looking Sideways by Alan Fletcher. In it, there's a chapter / section called "Perfection" and on page 323, on the top left column there is this quote:
Whatever we do, whatever we work at, our only rescue is to concentrate completely on it and to try and achieve perfection. The Greeks called it virture. That's all we want. That's all we are capable of.
- A.G. Fronzoni
And the reason that quote is there, the reason that I bring it up is that during today's WOD, in round three of the box jumps I was concentrating on getting my hip open and trying to execute with some virtuosity, and as I did so, Neo from the Matrix must have possessed me because I "There is no box" which made no sense and then I thought "There is no perfect box jump just the idea of a perfect box jump".
Perfection is an imaginary state. With it as the aim, there is no end, but there certainly seems to be very many beginnings.
