Workout of the Day

We get asked a lot by curious people if the WOD is enough -- why isn't there more stuff to do? I think Coach Glassman got asked that question one too many times and came up with this:

"Eva"

Five rounds for time of:

  • Run 800 meters,
  • 2 pood Kettlebell swing, 30 reps,
  • 30 Pull-ups.

The average completion time as rx'd on Beyond the White Board is about 47.5 minutes.

Surprised "Oh My Stars and Garters!" ~ Hank McCoy (The Beast)

This is a serious WOD. Check your ego. If you overestimate your abilities, fitness level or as we say, work capacity, you can hurt yourself. It's ok if you walk away feeling like you could go heavier and harder next time around.

“The point of CF is to get better at life.  Being unable to workout tomorrow because you were pigheaded today is not in line with our goals.“

this is ridiculous. scaling ideas? 3 rounds instead of 5? cut the reps in half and still do 5 rounds?

Didn't we just talk about how impossible this WOD is?!?! That said, I think you should add 1 lunch time WOD to the CFD menu, make it 12-1 3X's a week. That said, bummer! Can't make it to evening class for this, enjoy!!
