Ok, there are a metric crap ton of ways to measure progress -- and they all have there uses and even some drawbacks. You can measure progress by body fat % (we just did that with the  Body Fat Test truck),  the fit of clothing, the wt of your lifts, the scores in your workouts, nice compliments and the joy of doing stuff you never thought you would be able to do.

These things are pretty objective. You know...quantitative stuff. Davis being Davis - a lot of you CFD-ers are totally down with this.

But what about the qualitative side? The side that's internal? The things you think. The things you say -- to yourself. The decisions you make because you are putting you first. You're putting your fitness first. Your health first. How you feel when you look at yourself in the mirror.

How does that side of things feel to you? When you consider it, is it more important, just as important or less important than that objective, quantitative data. Are you skewed one way or the other? If so, would there be some progress to be gained by trying to seek out some middle ground?

BTW

We run a pretty relaxed atmosphere at CFD -- but please remember to take care of your water bottles, trash and chalktastrophe's. Thanks!
