Idea: Ramp up your low level activity. If you're hitting WODs and eating right and want to boost weight loss -- try to increase your daily activity in every possible manner. Davis being Davis, you're probably biking to a lot of places. So yay for that! Other little things are things like taking the stairs, going for a walk with the family after dinner or going for a hike on the weekends. Low level stuff that produces a moderate heart rate runs little risk of burnout and fatigue. You can also use these little games as a barometer of your overall fitness. One of my favorite things to do when I was starting out with CF was seeing how many trips it would take me to carry my groceries up to a third floor apartment. Once I could carry most of the loads in one trip, I started playing a game of how many breaths it would take to get up to the top.
Your progress should be all around you. You don't have to wait to repeat a benchmark workout to measure it.
